Believe 04:10
Believe Not everything has got a meaning Not everything is meant to be Good or bad coincidental It's all down to you and me You don't need a healer To make your blind eyes see It's right there inside of you That's why someone said to Open your eyes Look and see All that you need Is right here Open your mind Find inner peace All that you need Is right here If you believe in yourself Searching for the answers Questions that have not been asked Complications in your life Karma cuts just like a knife You don't need a preacher To save your soul from sin It's right there inside of you That's why someone said to Open your eyes Look and see All that you need Is right here Open your mind Find inner peace All that you need Is right here If you believe in yourself.

90s/High 04:36
90s/High Where have the good times gone The parties, the laughter, the friends, the fun Where have they gone? Take me back to 1992 Me and you We used to rule Techno, house, acid, garage, euro beats Queens of London's clubbing scene Love Muscle to Trade to the afterparty DTPM, FF, the chill out session Take me back to 1993 We were free So free We didn't care about designers Models, labels, trends or fashion We found our style second hand The money we earned was spent on better things Love Hearts, doves, strawberry sundaes Speeding on trips Friday to Monday We'd never been this high We could touch the sky Never been this high Gonna touch the sky Where have the good times gone The parties, the laughter, the friends, the fun Where have they gone? Do you remember Brixton, Farringdon 92, 93 You and me!

To Love 03:56
To Love Been looking everywhere Life is so unfair I see it everywhere There's something in the air Been waiting for the day For someone to say Been hoping for the day I say a little prayer I keep on trying I keep on hoping I keep on losing And I don't know what to do It keeps on hurting So I give up to try Every try makes me cry Every choice makes me lose I'm unable to love Been looking way too long Wrote so many songs Been looking everywhere Music is my love affair Been hoping that some time The universe will give me a sign Been looking everywhere Inner Peace is hard to come by I keep on trying I keep on hoping I keep on losing And I don't know what to do It keeps on hurting So I give up to try Every try makes me cry Every choice makes me lose I'm unable to love

Shame 03:22
Shame It's a shame Who we became It's a shame Who thought it'd be this way Do you listen? Cause we disagree It's a shame You refuse to see what we could be Creators of our destiny Searching for our inner peace You gotta breath To the heartbeat of our melody Let the music set you free Finding our inner peace Should be our destiny It's a shame Is there time to change It's a shame Who we became It's a shame Such a shame So comfortable in comfort Living in excess You're ignorant or unaware Of the current atmosphere This is not a case Of what will be will be In time you'll see Some things are irreversible Fireball

Golden Door 03:45
Golden Door Two steps to the left Just around the bend There's a road that never ends In the distance I can see There's a light shining for me There I'll find the golden door The one that I've been looking for Behind that door is everything Why am I scared To open the golden door Who's that voice inside of my head Urging me to step to the left Convinced that I will find The golden door to the other side Where the grass is greener Life tastes a little sweeter If you dare to open Don't open the golden door Why am I scared? Two steps to the right Just around the bend There's a road that never ends Don't trust that voice Is he telling lies ? You don't know what you will find Is it worth the risk to see? What my life, what my life could be Do I dare to open? Do I dare, do I dare To open to golden door? Why am I sacred? Do you dare?

Better 03:13
Better I need to go To a place Where no one knows Who I became When I fell Into her trap A spell was cast A destiny changed I need to go Far far away Where no one saw The shame I caused Time and again I let her in I need to find My inner peace I need to be Away from here Where I can be A better version of me Better than me Can I be A better version of me Better than me Need to forget Mistakes I've made Lessons learned A tainted past I need to be Where no one knows The things I know About myself I long to be Issue free I need to be Where I can be A better version of me Better than me Can I be A better version of me Better than me Can I be better Better? I need to go To a place Where no one knows...

Hold On 03:06
Hold on Hold on to me I hold on to you Hold on to the memories that life has granted us Hold on to faith Demons we must face Hold on to believing love will comfort us For too may years We were lost In yesterday Lost in a dream The same old dream Believed it was our destiny Too many times We flew way too high Lost our sight We were riding too fast No time to catch up We derailed into a crash Hold on to me I hold on to you Hold on to the good times still in front of us Hold on to now To what we have learned Hold on to the strength that lies in our hearts Hold on Hold on Hold on Stay strong Hold on to me I hold on to you Hold on to the future written in the stars.

about

The inspiration for this album started with it's cover photo. It's a random screen shot of a promo video I made for a remix of 'Back2Love' from my EP 'Up In The End'.
The photo awoke memories of my youth, London in the early 90s, going clubbing every weekend, tripping on aciiid, eees and speed. Good times. The best!
I was exposed to music that I'd never heard before, Acid House, Hard House, Techno, Garage. Deep House, Trip Hop, Rap, R'n'b and even Grunge.
I started to play around with acid house samples and hip hop beats with the intention of creating a dance/pop album which one could have a bop to if it took ones fancy or could be played at the chill out party (although I'm not entirely sure whether the youth of today still goes to those on a Sunday morning.)
Around the same time I began meditating. I kept on hearing the phrase: find your Inner Peace. I asked myself, what is Inner Peace? How do I find it? Is it music? Is it finding the answers to questions that have not yet been asked ? Is it opening your mind, finding yourself? Is it comfort or security? Am I happy? When was I at my most content? What are my believes? Where have the good times gone? (a question only someone over 40 would ask!)
'Inner Peace' is self reflective, honest, nostalgic, hopeful and pop. It's very me :0)
